Love love love Indian Breakfast! We order it often and introduce our buddies to it all the time.

This time around we stopped for the falooda, which is like a milkshake with ice cream, vermicelli, basil seeds and syrups. So this review is just about that. The other sweets that they sell are still top notch. The falooda was tasty. The ice-cream was really sweet and a little soft for my preference but when you mixed it all together, it made for a very yummy and refreshing dessert. Definitely give it a try if you are in the mood for a sweet treat that's a little different.

Founded in 1996, Tahoora's signature attraction is its unparalleled selection of mithai (Indian sweets), where every flavor is a guaranteed delight. Many of their sweet offerings have set the standard. They've expanded their menu to include savory options like pizzas, burgers, kababs, and their famed specialties - halwa-puri, falooda, and kulfi. Pista Angara ($13 a lb.) - This unique take on pistachio halwa incorporates sprouted wheat, a source of both protein and fiber, into its base of milk, sugar, and clarified butter (desi ghee). The inclusion of crisp, de-shelled pistachios adds a delightful textural element, while a vibrant array of zesty spices elevates the aroma to an irresistible level. Pista barfi ($12 a lb) - PIsta barfi is the heavenly blend of sweet cream and finely selected pistachios. Pista barfi's nutty taste, lush green color, and tender texture make it one of Asia's most captivating desserts. Kalakand ($11 a lb) -This versatile dessert unveils a delightful contrast of delightful grain and lush creaminess, all underscored by a subtle sweetness that transcends into a comforting indulgence. Kalakand's enduring appeal lies in its delightful simplicity, making it a perfect choice for any occasion. Falooda ($6) - This vibrant dessert transcends the ordinary milkshake, offering a delightful interplay of sweet syrups, creamy richness, and surprising textural intrigue. Delicate vermicelli noodles dance in cool milk alongside the unexpected pop of sweet basil seeds. Choose your flavor adventure - pistachio or mango ice cream - for a truly refreshing finale. Kaju katli ($13 a lb) -This is a perfectly smooth-textured dessert made of milk, cashews, and sugar. The simplicity of this dessert's ingredient combined with its geometric shape results in a sophisticated and original dessert that melts in the mouth. Overall, the extensive array of Indian mithai (sweets) at this establishment proved to be particularly impressive. I was most captivated by the falooda and pista angara, with kaju katli earning a close third place in my personal preference. Notably, they offer nationwide shipping throughout the United States and Canada.

Ambiance - it was very inviting. Clean and spacious restaurant. Service - 10/10 Food Okay Samosa, chamcham Nice Pineapple pastry Great Spring roll Kaju Katli Besan barfi Mysore pak Kalakand Would love to visit again!

My go to place for sweets. Great service but okay ambiance. Must try their chico and mango barfi!! 10/10

One of my favorite sweets and streetfood spots on Devon. The kulfi here are very good, so is the falooda. I've also tried their various samosas and puff pastries and have never been disappointed. The tamarind chutney packets are great. The ras malai here are some of the softest and most decadent ones I've ever tasted, the ras is velvety smooth and divine. Will always make it a point to stop here every time I visit Chicago.

It a great place for traditional Indian sweets and savory snacks. My go to place when craving veggie samosas and Mango Lassi. Its still carry out counter service post pandemic but the service is quick and food is constantly being refreshed. I may have stopped there during Ramadan, its a great place to get snacks for when you break your fast. Downside for me. I love the sauce. Hate the packets but there kinda was a pandemic. So I get it
